- Ergonomic design enables loading and unloading of filter capsules at waist height to minimize fluid spills when handling spent capsules (production and multi-round models only)
- Vertical flow path modes, can accommodate both Bottom-In / Bottom-Out and Top-In / Bottom-Out to allow for effective utilization of the filter media
- Vertical orientation allows for a smaller footprint during operation and storage
- Accommodates translucent polycarbonate shells which allow detection of the liquid level for real time monitoring of the filtration process or Polyphenylene Oxide shells which allow sterilization and sanitization
- Core design with fully encapsulated shell eliminates the need for a stainless-steel housing and the pre- and post-filtration cleaning and validation steps in customers facilities
3M™ Encapsulated System Holder is pivoted to the horizontal position for ergonomic loading and unloading at waist height and to the vertical position for filtration. This means operators do not have to lift capsules above their head and reduces the risk of exposure to fluid when handling used capsules. It also drastically reduces the time it takes to change out filter cartridges.
The manifold set has documents to support implmentation and qualification.
